Driving from the North: From the A9, take the first left at the Tore roundabout onto the A832. Follow this road past Munlochy, through Avoch, Fortrose and Rosemarkie.
At the end of Rosemarkie the road turns right over a bridge at the Fairy Glen. Continue on the A832 up a steep hill. Take the 2nd turn off on the right approximately half a mile up the hill signposted as a single track road to Eathie.
Stay on that road for over a mile. You should see some horses in the fields on your left. On the right, past Balmungie, watch for the sign for Black Isle Yurts and Hillockhead (just after the horses). Drive down this farm track and you will pick up signs for Longhouse Cottages.
Driving from the South: Follow the A9 towards Inverness. Continue on the A9 across the Kessock Bridge. Take the first exit on the right signposted to Munlochy B9161. Drive straight through Munlochy and at the top of the hill, take a right onto the A832. Stay on this road and drive through Avoch, Fortrose and Rosemarkie.
